After a few weeks in paradise, the crew is finally well-rested
and doing well. Although they cannot seem to wean themselves from
technology and are searching for a modem that works with a pay phone so
they can download their e-mail and check the latest price of PSFT. [Editor's
note: Is this not what they were trying to retire from?]
On other fronts, the Scalawag is slowly getting back into shape, having her bottom cleaned, halyards re-run, diesel scrubbed and polished, and gennicker fixed. The 'Wag is traveling at a leisurely pace from Hilo to Kona and trying to neither break any speed records, nor any more equipment. [Editor's note: When you're retired, why hurry?] |
